Hotel description

One of the few hotels in the city centre of Nijmegen. Some of the recently renovated rooms have a view over the remains of the castle of emperor Charles the Great and over the Waal river.

Hotel information

The City Park Hotel is not only attractive because of its favorable position. Recently all of the rooms have been entirely renovated to a 3 Star level. The City Park Hotel has both smaller/cheaper rooms as larger/more luxurious. The rooms have no needless luxury, and the prices and quality are in good proportion. (No elevator.)

Food & Beverage

Grand-café restaurant OportO is named after the Portugese port town. The Restaurant is completely redecorated in Southern-European style. The Portuguese - Mediterranean menu of OportO offers plenty of choice for lunch and diner. The chef and his kitchen staff are guaranteed to give you gastronomic surprises. You can choose between a 1 to 6 course surprise menu, à la carte, or have a 9 to 12 course menu and eat all night! We also cater to guests with special diets like vegetarians. At the restaurant you can also listen to live music every Sunday from 4:00 p.m.: Brazilian & Latin, Every last Saturday of the month: Casa de Fado; A nine course diner with live Fado music by the Quatro Ventos. You can enjoy a drink at the cozy bar in the restaurant, or in your room. The extensive breakfast buffet is served from 7:00 until 10.00 during the week and from 8:00 until 11.00 during weekends.

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
